Jarrah
A hard and very durable timber with rich reddish brown colourtones, typical uses include heavy construction, general joinery, boatbuilding and other marine applications. The warm colours and high density make for excellent T&G flooring. Gum veins are common and give natural character.

Tasmanian Oak
A light coloured and medium density hardwood, pale straw through to lighter browns, with excellent staining qualities. Used extensively for T&G flooring and panelling, and interior joinery. Sometimes called Australian Ash, this is not an Oak either, but a mixture of three very similar Eucalypt species that are marketed together.
